Mullen Insurance Agency Inc was born in 1988 as a natural outgrowth of Ann Mullen’s Farmers Insurance Agency and we have continued to grow and develop our insurance expertise in solving both the commercial and personal insurance needs of our fellow Texans. Our 19 full and/or part-time employees are divided between our two agency outlets—retail and wholesale—and multiple departments. A large portion of our resources is directed toward the Texas Automotive Industry. Writing insurance for Texas Independent Auto Dealers is how we began and it is niche market where we shine. From garage liability, DOL, garagekeepers, bonds, workers comp, building/contents, commercial auto, false pretense, RV’s, cargo, to whatever protection a garage risk might need, we have the products necessary to fill the bill and many of those markets are available on both a wholesale and retail basis. Quickly rivaling our Garage Department is our Non-Garage Commercial Insurance Division. Contractors, particularly artisan, will find people here who speak their language and who are familiar with the insurance and/or bond programs they require to satisfy their insurance needs. We have personnel dedicated to meeting the insurance needs of real estate investors, apartment building owners, commercial building owners, main street business owners, etc., from commercial property, general liability to industry-specific insurance requirements and much more. To be sure we stay on the leading edge, our staff is required to attend continuing education classes in addition to scheduled company instructional courses. Our retail agency is staffed by licensed personnel who are encouraged to expand their knowledge and to obtain various insurance designations. Members of our staff have been active in insurance for well over 30 years and many have 10 to 20 years with our agency.
